Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

Lion Gate Portal is a content site. We don't require accounts, we don't ask for health information, and we'd rather collect less data than more. What we do handle is limited to basic, privacy-respecting site analytics and anything you voluntarily send us by email.

What we collect

  • Analytics. Aggregated, privacy-respecting usage statistics (pages visited, referrer, country, device type) to understand what content helps readers. We do not build individual profiles.
  • Email you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and message, used solely to respond. Please don't include personal health details in correspondence, since we're a publisher, not a provider.
  • Affiliate click data. If you click an affiliate link, the destination service and its network may set cookies and record the referral. Their privacy policies govern what happens on their sites; our affiliate disclosure explains the relationship.

What we don't do

  • Sell or rent personal data. Ever.
  • Collect health information about you.
  • Run invasive ad-tech tracking on our pages.

Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)

For visitors in the EU/EEA and UK: our legal basis for minimal analytics is legitimate interest in operating and improving the site; for correspondence, it's responding to your request. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, use the contact page.

Data retention

Correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and reasonable follow-up. Aggregated analytics contain no personal identifiers.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
